Title: new cooling fan already!
Post by: wag29 on 23 July 2013, 13:01
With the warm spell just lately, the cooling fans have been running on as normal when the ignition is turned off. Got out the car the other day sounded like mice had nested under the bonnet . Upon lifting bonnet could hear the smaller of the two fan squeaking  Sounds like dry bearings, took to dealers today and they confirmed this, Goes in Friday to have new fan fitted, they say the front bumpers got to come off . Bit disappointed car has only done 2000 miles. Just hope they put the bumper back  on square!. Has anyone else had this issue in such a short period of time ?

Had wind noise from early on that door seals cured and door rattles after 18 months. As you say, check the bumper goes back on properly - very easy to break the fixings.
