Title: Traction, ABS lights on.
Post by: DubAndDubber on 21 July 2013, 22:15
A mate of mine got his coilovers fitted yesterday. Drove the car no more than 10 yards and the mentioned lights came up in the dash.

I've had the wheels off and checked the plugs. They're both damaged and taped up ( dodgey mechanic ).

However I've put the plugs back on and re taped them so they're definitely secure. But the lights are still on..

I had the problem with my own car but the lights went off after I had a little play around. Been fine for 12 months.

Anyone experienced this problem?

Cheers

Are you sure all the wires in the broken Plugs are all intact?

ABS sensor faults don't turn off straight away once fixed. They need a few miles or so to self test then turn off

The plugs were snapped where they go into the abs sensor. I plugged them both in and the traction light wouldn't go off.
