hey guys. do any of you know if an agg oil pump fitted to a pb engine will increase my oil pressure? cheers.

This is a stupid question.
As the AGG is a taller block there is a good chance the oil pump from it won't fit (ETKA will tell you if it's any different at all).
Your question suggests you have an issue with low oil pressure. Maybe you could describe that and what you've eliminated and people on here can give you their slant on why you might have low oil pressure.
There are three possibilities in my eyes:
- Your oil pump is worn out - replace like for like
- The pump pick-up is blocked with silicone sealant or similar because a moron has worked on your car, or it's sludged up because an old woman has driven it slowly and not changed the oil regularly enough.
- You're using the wrong grade oil for an older engine and in this hot weather the oil is getting too thin.
But maybe it's something else?
