Hey guys, My girlfriends ford feista AC does not work, you can hear the AC unit clicking (trying to engage) but I first thought it needed re-gassing. So my cuz said, he has one of the re-gassing kits I can use for her so we first had to find the inlet point which was behind the passenger headlight lol but when we plugged the Valve on to check the gas levels we saw something we have never seen, as you can see from the video, when you hear the click the compressor seems to go to engage but them switches off and restarts! :undecided:
any ideas?
Her car is a 1.4 TDCI Mk6 ford feista.

Pressure switch turns off the pump to stop it being buggered by having no gas.
Those kits are scrap, get it sorted properly

yes but get them to check for leaks first

Sigh of relief. Going by the title of your thread I didn't know what the hell I was going to read or see

Even Kwik Fit are better than those DIY gassing kits :)
Get it pressurised, checked for leaks and refilled or repaired first

Cheers guys, don't suppose anyone knows roughly how much this costs?

Kwik fit charge about £50 to connect it to their machine. If their machine detects a problem with your car's system they don't normally charge.
Our local mobile guy charges £70 but he is a lot more thorough and far better at diagnosing faults

Thanks guys :)
