Hi Guys
Ok, if like me any of you have had a go at DIY rear arch cutting (eg getting the angle grinder out). The rear arches are double skined and weilded together, now if you do what i did and take up above these weild points i just filled the crack with glue as i thought it was just to hold them together to stop water getting in. i was wrong. it holds the inner arch in place and if u dont get them weilded the inner arch will start to move downwards and cut into the tyre..
GET THEM WEILDED!
Looking back i wish i had paided someone to do them as i have learnt the hard way. but if you are aware of all areas you can defo do them yourself. Someone needs to do a good tutorial.. LOL
Cheers

I know.. people said.. just thought it was because they had water go up inside them.. no because it help in the inner arch lining..

In the end though if in doubt ask someone that seems to know what they are talking about, by pm if need be.
I would of explained to you why it needed welding back up if i had known you were going to be doing it blind so to speak.

Is the inner arch a structual part? Or more of a gunk shield? Could you take the inner out completely?
