Post by: oakgreenmk2 on 13 August 2005, 21:54: Hello everyone thought I would sign up and introduce myself - heard of the site through one of your members approaching me and - strangely - asking me if I liked his t-shirt!!Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â :laugh:Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â Got a feeling it's a guy called Joe (one of the mods) but might be wrong!!Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â Anyway, I live in Worthing, West Sussex, work at Halfords as Bikehut supervisor, 21yrs old and got a 1991 mk2 golf gti 8v with various mods:

9x16" keskin alloys
fk coilovers (lowered approx 100mm)
g60 arches
de-badged grille
crystal headlights
smoked indicators and side repeaters
magnex stainless exhaust
de-locked boot
flushed wing aerial
magnecor performance ignition leads
pipercross induction kit
alpine headunit
alpine type r front door components running off an alpine amp
infinity 6x9's
toad cat 1 alarm and immobiliser

Will have a browse around the forum and try to visit regularly! Would like to make the meet last sunday this month but working - will see if i can change shifts though!

Post by: oakgreenmk2 on 14 August 2005, 17:50: Thanks for the replies guys, I really love my Golf, take really good care of it, but become a bit down about it recently, its covered 130k and the engine hasn't skipped a beat until the clutch rod broke a day after paying for it to be mot'd :cry: What really got me though was that while it was parked up some idiots thought it would be a good idea to smash both my body coloured wing mirrors :cry: :angry: Got some replacements but cant afford to get them sprayed yet! It's going on the driveway soon though for some much needed TLC ready for the winter months :smiley:
