Title: Metal waterpump, great upgrade!
Post by: Bellend on 17 July 2013, 23:58

That's what happens when a bit of some kind of debris locks the metal water pump up.

Would have just taken the impeller off a plastic one. Fitted for a reason.

It was some bit of fairly tough plastic. Can happen if the bearings seize which is more likely with metal too!

Because the water pump threw the cambelt and bent the valves I'd guess
