Title: mk2 rear bearings
Post by: caddygti on 17 July 2013, 21:39
thread had gone on disk for wheel bolts so ordered a new disc from vw heritage, when it came to fitting it I planned to swap over the original inner bearings but they didn't fit right, was right loose, so bought a new bearing set to match the new disc but just wont seem to fit into the disc as if its too big is there a nack to getting em in?

cheers

sounds like you got a dodgy disc. even a used bearing should be a tap in fit in a new hub/disc. is it definately the correct bearings? same number on them?

This!

You are putting in ALL of the bearing aren't you...
Unlikely the parts are wrong, but it can happen
