I can hear my turbo bearings after I turn car off for about 5 seconds is this normal for the gt28 some sites suggest its ok.
Also still have 0 boost so replacing n75 as I have the n75f and I think today whilst running 23psi it died...
Ay other ideas on the boost issue?
Tested DV and seems ok
Tested actuator seems ok
Looked around most pipes seem ok
New maf
When I sit still and rev there's a funny turbo noise comes from turbo like a crappy dump noise could it be the DV spring? Is too weak to strong? It's a yellow spring.
Hoping its the n75 but also looked at my 1 way oil breather and its open both directions shouldn't it be that I can blow one way but not the other?
Ay help is wanted for this thanks :)

Check the actuator is still connected to the wastegate...

It is....

Should it be super tight to go on medium or just slip on?

remove the tip /induction tube off the turbo and check your fan on the turbo . The blot holding it on can come loss . What kind of noise can you hear for 5 sec with engine off ?

Bearing noise and spool feels ok

I would have a look on youtube to see similar noise. Cant speak for VW turbos, but I had a 200sx with a garrett turbo.
I kicked the ass out of it and got to a stage where the turbo was "ticking" on spin down and then further on, the ticking was present during boost. At times, I had the downpipe glowing red.
If your brave, you can try checking the shaft for play.
