Title: 95 ron?

what is ideal for mk3 8v with starter mod like zorst and filter?
95 ron seems to run abit rough compared to shell optimax?  BP ultimate runs nice on this 8v? but filler flap says use 95 ron? why does it run rougher then?

95 is the correct fuel but you may get better running with 97+ (as the knock sensor will do it's stuff and adjust the timing a tiny bit for the fuel)

I have to say as the agg is quite prehistoric it won't make much difference power wise as the ecu's only designed for 95)

my golf feels better on v-power, gives slight better mpg too.
