With the Rallye MIA at the paintman, I couldn't stop looking at mk4's again
Bought this a couple of months ago, last 2 owners have been forum members...

Now being a sensible wheel addict, I already had other wheels bought before I found the car to put them on.
See those big brakes in the pic above? They don't fit behind the wheels... so this is a strong look yeah?

Top FAILing there.
(picture of the wheels doesn't work BTW)
-
Went to see some chap on the south coast. Allegedly he does trimming work but he always prefers to do dull stuff to my car instead.
Rear brakes refreshed with new discs and pads. Fronts switched to a set of vRS 312's.

Looking quite tidy?
Colour really changes in the sun!

RC's are for sale.
Check the classifieds section.

Engine bay had a bit of a clean
Wasn't convinced with the green faux-carbon engine cover it came with.

 fitting smaller brakes!! That's new
What's the plans with this one then?
Quick question what et and width an the rc's?
We're they lcr brembos you had fitted?
I'm looking at buying some lcr brembos
And also need to know if tey will fit behind my rc's
-
Looks to have been this kit:
http://www.thettshop.com/performance.asp?cat=6227&product=600438
Lot of value in it ;) Really worth it on a fairly stock mk4? :)
They had 10mm spacers with the RC's to clear.
-
A standard mk4! That's also a new one
Not many of them about haha
What's it's current mods?
Was the offset 35?
Would prefer not to run spacers but I guess I will have to on the road wheels.
The brake kit petty much a lcr set up then
What was the brake feel like?
May be interested if your selling
-
Was meaning engine wise - the 312's are enough of an upgrade.
7.5 by 18" et38.
Brakes have already been traded. They weren't as mental as I would have expected - I didn't exactly have them on there very long though!
-
Hmmm I'm running et35 7.5j 17's so will have to wait and see!
No worries then
Lookin forward to further updates
-
Nice car jv!
-
Looks good :afro:
Its crying out for some sideskirts though! What rear lights are they? Just pov spec?
-
Love the colour, always looks good on a mk4 :afro:

+1 on that in fact i think if i can find a good one in that colour, this may be my next purchase.
-
Good to see you participating on your own forum!
-
Are they Daytonas? Love those wheels!
-
Red painted rear lights - going to swap to standard GTI ones.
They are indeed TJG :)
Got busy with the Plastidip today, all the  wood is gone - apart from the gearknob, not sure what to swap that for!
Swapped the centre console/gear surround out as the one in there was scratched to funk.
OE head unit fitted also.
-
Nice looking car and the best choice of colour

Quality isn't too bad considering it's a cheap chinese one
-
Was wondering about those - so many on ebay!
I'll message you about the reds :)
-
How did you get on with the plasti-dip?
-
Really easy to use - so tempting to try and peel it off again, just to see
-
Looks a nice car mate, love the wheels
-
Nice Green Tank.
Plasti Dip is also my favourite new toy!
