Title: Mk3 td help
Post by: 1stevester1 on 13 July 2013, 15:26
Hi I'm new to mk3's so maybe a bit newbie

I had a horrible sonund coming from the osf wheel for a couple of weeks only does on left turn and straight if I turn right it goes away so I've replaced

Drop link bushes
Top mounts

I checked the wheel bearing no play so I'm guessing its a c.v but unsure if any can help I'd much appreciate it

Thanks Steve

100% wheel bearing.

Just because there is no play don't mean its not worn

yeah its amazing how noisy a wheel bearing can be even though theres no play. had an alfa in once and even at low speed it sounded like the tyre was full of marbles. but not the slightest bit of play in it.
