Title: Merc MAF + Lambda Probe

I have a Golf MK4 1.8T im having some problems with namley the MAF and Lambda Probe, first of all whats the deal with people using merc MAF's do they work are there  any issues using them?

ive also been told that my car is running too rich prob the lambda probe ive been told some cars have two of, is the golf mk4 one of them?

hmmm not got a clue about this one, have you tried this in the mk4 section?

merc maf's only work on the mk4 diesels, and not always with the best results .. only one lambda sensor on your car.

how do you know its running rich ? if it went on diagnostics they should have told you which part is causing the fault...
