poped a hose today, so nursed the car home and put went to re-fit. the two clamps on one hose have snapped.
one I have managed to salvage sort of, the other is completely fecked so I now have a boost hose from my fmic held on by a cable tie and a broken clamp   driving to work tomorrow should be fun...
preferably from big name stores/stores in darlington that I can pop into tomorrow to buy... or from a shop which offers next day delivery...
this is for a mk4 btw, but guess it will be the same for all mk's with a turbo.

Mikalor hose clamps seem to be what the big boosters favour, they look much cleaner than jubalie clips too

thats what i currently have, they dont seem to hold boost very well. even on my car which isnt running a big turbo or large amounts of boost.

That's really weird? I know on my MK2 I kept blowing a boost pipe and in the end I replaced the connecting pipe with a piece with more of a lip/beading on it and never had an issue again. You could try this?

theres only one or two of them that seem to leak a small amount of pressure on my car, could just be a dodgey clip or something though, but when ive searched on google theres a few people complaining about them.
just fitted a metal cable tie there to sort it out, and tbh I think ill end up changing all to metal cable ties, so much more easier to put on and tighten, plus there cheep as chips.

get yourself some lorry exhaust clamps. you manage a ton of boost before they will come off lol

i am now running hi-grip stainless jubilee clamps as i kept on popping boost pipes with mikalors

if get big problems with hose blowing off in HIGH boost applications, tend to use an adhesive as well as clamping, decent quality hose clamps help as well
