I think the live mapping will be ok. I guess it is the flash maps, as with others, which are pretty tosh...

Is it just me or does the gt28rs seem a direct fit, I take this will will be because I have already done major adaptions for my ko4 before?

I presume you've got a manifold and down pipe sorted for the gt28?

Might as well fit it though while you have it all off, surely it would save you doing a job twice almost?

Was it on a revo map??

Proper custom dyno mapping all the way
Revo are too much of a revenue prioritised company for my liking.
Care more about the money then customer satisfaction and care.

Much better with the smaller companies like r-tech, badger-5 etc who could I into competing with the big companies producing generic maps etc but chose not to as they prefer the customer satisfaction from custom mapping.

Just my 2pence

Anyway good luck with the turbo swap, just remember all new crush washers, oil & filter, prime the turbo with oil, gaskets and bolts etc

Also what oil would be best for the new bigger turbo? A thinner oil? Going to change it tomorow.

I would say thinner. I would use a 5 30 fully synth but probably won't make any difference!

Standard oil..   Quantum 10W/40

Thought the standard oil is 5-40 as I had 10-40 and the guys at rtec said it should be fully synthetic oil :undecided:

2.5" will be sufficient as it will handle the power right up untill the 430bhps

2.5" exhaust starts to become a restriction around 340 bhp so I would go a bit bigger
