Have had my car off the road for the past week and a half doing a few jobs and during the course of this I've been taking my front drivers side wheel off quite often, so got in the habit of leaving my locking wheel nut keys (2 of them) on their respective bolts. Well today I was in a real rush to get going so I did all the finsihing touches I needed to do to set off, then left in a bit of a hurry. Of course the locking wheel nuts were still on the bolts when I left, and not when I got back!!I realised that I'd left them on there pretty quick, pulled over but they'd gone, couldnt believe my luck when I found one of them on the drive home.
The real kick in the teeth is taht of the 2 keys, for some reason one of them will undo both bolts, whereas the other one will only undo its own bolt. Guess which one I found!!!!
