Title: Break fluid float and warning light

Got home yesterday evening and the hand break light came on before I had the chance to put the hand break up, opened the bonnet and found the float had pushed the sticker off the res and it was sitting proud...

Anyone have any ideas on why this has happened? Break fluid levels are good and breaks work fine!

The woke brake res cap came off or the centre part of it? May just be a case of a lot of air in the system. Try re bleeding the whole brake system and replacing fluid.
