Title: Rebuilding thread- yellow colour concept

Doing some work on my mk3 colour concept, got new wings coming tomorrow, new bumpers and grill already there :) can anyone explain the process of fitting new sills to my car as there is major damage?
New spray job is planned for around 6 weeks time :) while I resit my driving tests :(

cut panel/rust out and weld replacement panel on or cut it up and replace the rust.
