Hi Guys....Dont know where to start but I have started up a my business of Vinyl Wrappin and wondering where the best place to advertise etc?
-
Car magazines. Car forums. Put some flyers up in local garages.
-
you've started a business but don't know where to advertise? oh dear
-
I think I would go with the first reply.
-
Wrap my car and you can have my back window space for 12mths
-
I got a bonnet needs wrapping! Let you do it for free then I will tell everyone how great you are!

Don't do mate's rates, freebies or cheap work on the promise of bigger and better jobs in the future.
Where to advertise?
Car shows - take along some examples of your work.
Local papers - tend to be the first place a lot of people look
Web site - don't mess around with GoDaddy and crap like that, get a site built properlyy (drop me a PM if you like). Do not rely on a Facebook page - it's amateur hour.
Local radio - not always as expensive as you think and VERY effective
eBay - list your services as items with a buy it now price. Just about allowed under their terms and conditions but word your ads carefully.
Car magazines, other forums etc, etc

I would but I live in Birmingham...

What are the benefits of vinyl wrapping?
How much does it cost?
Is it easy to fix if it gets scuffed?
Can it be removed?

To answer your questions in order
Allows for custom graphics whilst maintaining the car's original paint when you come to resell
Costs vary but about half the price of a respray.
Yes, you just wrap the affected panel again

THE INTERNET
-
Create and design a website, if you haven't got design skills then pay someone to do it.
Advertise on Facebook
Advertise and target websites, companies and people that have relations to cars/car body work, and ask them to affiliate with you.
Word of mouth
and the most important one, to have a USP and the correct skills for the business your advertising.. any company can get customers or even potentional customers.. but will they come back? that depends on how well your company sells the product to the customers.
