19mm I/D, but you'll need to alter the nipples on the catch can depending on which one you've bought

Have a look on eBay for 'BSP taper fitting' You will have to make sure the threads match though.

Nice one, I'll have to keep an eye out. Just scrolled through and found a pic of your car from Wimbledon, is it still the same? Had another golf beeping at me near Clapham Junction a while back, wasn't you was it?

No mot me!! I've now changed the wheels to calibra dubs in black

Back to the hose sizes...does it HAVE to be 19mm could I get away with smaller or slightly larger silicone hose??

why would you use larger silicone hose?.. it needs to be oil resistant too!
like this! (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Blue-Silicone-Hose-Fuel-Oil-1-Metre-19mm-/130533540781?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item1e6467c3ad)

Check out that item, if Jamie is correct you need to select 1/2" BSPT x 3/4" (19mm). However I have a feeling that the thread side (1/2" BSPT) would be too big.

19mm is ideal because that is the size of the pipe that comes out of the rocker cover. So there will be no restrictions in the system if you stick to that throughout. However saying that I have used all 19mm pipes and fitted reducers right before the pipes connect to the catch can input/output that are 15mm. Still works fine for me and collects a decent amount of water/oil
