Title: anyone got a golf R grill on their gti/gtd?

I have always thought of putting a GTI one on an R but with blue stripes.
But never the other way round. The R ones too normal for me.

Thanks for that. The reason why I am contemplating it is because I have a tornado red but dont know what colour to paint the stripes. Im not keen on the chrome, so swapped for a gti grill with the red stripes but I think it looks worse now. So I was thinking swap it for a golf R grill

At least the R grille doesn't have that sodding honeycomb that's a royal PITA to clean.
