Title: Asr light staying

Evening fellas

I've just fitted my silicone tip today and now my asr light has come on and won't turn off!! I done a bit of research and most post says its the maf but I have just had a new one fitted on Wednesday so unless that is a dud?? The car drives as it was just cant turn it off

Any ideas??

From VW or not? Makes a big difference, GSF/TPS ones are reconditioned regardless of if they are Bosch or not, they are unreliable to say the least.

Anyway, have you scanned for fault codes?

Ahh ok didn't know that the skanky bastards...so I paid 95£ for a secondhand part :angry:

Just been to buy some vac pipe for the fuel pressure reg and on the way back it felt like I put the brakes on for a split second then the asr light went off??
