hey man at that price I would buy 2 and throw 1 in glove box for emergencies. it seems cheap enough to take a gamble eh?

As with everything you get what you pay for!

Personally I would only buy a relay from a main dealer.

New fuel pump relay fitted. Got from eurocarparts. But still got an intermittent fuel pump problem. It sometimes will not prime when starting my 8v gti. Any other ideas?

Dodgy wire to pump or on pump or the relay is bolloxed (ecp normaly sell parts that usually dont work) lol

My ECP fuel pump relay has been fine for over a year. It's a decent German made part, I would bet it's something else.
