Title: ware to find code for stereo

my cars been the garage and come back with the stereo in safe mode, is there an easy way to get a code for it or does it need de codeing now?

Did you not get the code on a credit card sized card at the front of your owners manual?

If it was fitted from the factory just give your local dealer a ring, if it was retrofitted then you might need to get it unlocked by someone or contact the person you bought it from to see if they can give you the code?

its in safe mode 2 now, can that still be unlocked at home or does it need taking to a garage?
