Has anybody used these guy or heard of them??

Really want a remap now but don't want to drive from London to r tech and then have to leave the car there if they need it left...these guys are mobile and not bad on price too

Also they are half the price of what r tech charge!! Not saying they aren't worth the money just they are a fair bit cheaper and the have a branch in slough less than an hour from me

more bhp do a before and after type thing, do r tech have the map that can be switched back to std be myself via laptop??

No, if you have me7.5 ecu however you can have switchable maps by toggling various input signals to the ecu  :wink:

In that case, you can have switchable maps put on your ecu.

Do r techno that?? If so I would prob go for that as a mobile map and them take it on the rollers and maybe before.

Which is the best map to go for?? I'm new to all this new tech I've only ever built minis and a mk1 golf gti

go for r-tech IMPO, they have all the experience when it comes to 1.8t`s and nick is delving deeper into aum (me7.5) software, so he knows his stuff!

I had a More BHP stage 1 map years ago and it was alright managed to get 219bhp with a Milltek turboback sports cat, TIP & induction kit.

R-Tech are doing immense stuff with 1.8T, worth the drive for linear throttle, TIV and map switching :)
