Title: Fault codes
Post by: Mrjoey101 on 28 June 2013, 18:21
Just wondering if anyone knows what's wrong with my mk4 golf 1.8 turbo aum engine 150 bhp it's come up with 5 codes and its misfiring like mad lol,
code 1: fuel pump relay 01259 open or short to ground.
Code 2: injector cyl 1 short to ground 01249
Code 3: injector cyl 2 short to ground 01250
Code 4: injector cyl 3 short to ground 01251
Code 5: injector cyl 4 short to ground 01252
Any help would really be appreciated cos its getting hard to drive now and I've only just had it but love it apart from it misfiring and the Lexus lights which aren't my cup of tea lol

Give your local VW dealer a ring, tell them you suspect your car needs to come in for a coil pack recall.
Your fault seems to be related to the coils (hopefully) if your car hasn't already been in it will be done completely free and if it is the problem hey presto you will have a lovely running AUM :)
