Title: what year did the agu's 1.8ts start and end?
Post by: sharki786 on 27 June 2013, 23:26
As above. And does anyone know or have a detailed version of all of the 1.8t engines that were used? I remember reading it but cant seem to remember where. It had stuff such as the engine codes, specs of head, if the if was forged or not.

Thanks

Agu's ended in 2000, got forged pistons, crank and large port head. The Bam has all of that with a better compression ratio. Go for the cupra r mate.

Sorry mate thought it was big port. To be honest it doesnt make much difference unless you go big turbo. Both the AGU and BAM engines are ideal to tune, if you want to take it to the limit use the AGU. If I were you id get the newer car, will keep its value better.
