Hello to all,

Very happy I found this site as I am picking up my first golf at the end of the week hopefully :D and will probably be using the fountains of knowledge posted on this site!!

(-It is a mk5 GT Sport TDI 170 in black-)

I do have one question though, I have seen many for sale with either GT or 2.0 TDI on the back with just the 'I' in red but this one had 2.0 TDI with all the letters in red... is there any difference?

Yeah its the difference between dealers and what they had in thier spare parts dept   :laugh:

Dont worry about the badges, just worry about the engine code and BHP. 170bhp = 125 Kw

Picked up exactly the same car yesterday from a local lady , very impressed so far
