i`ve been tempted so many time, just for the pipe bit of it tbh.. the filter is crap. many complain of the chance of sucking up a puddle and hydrolocking your engine but unless your`e a comlete numpty you should be fine.
i want one but not for £50`s worth of china china..

something like that yeah, about half bumper height.
I had a chance to win one on ebay the other day for about £15, it was the last couple of seconds before I stuck my bid in..
I put in the bit at about 10`secs and it cam back auction ended within 3 secs from me clicking the button and said auction ended, a bit of internet lag lost me the auction there I think

I have this induction kit on but in polished chrome.

Sounds really nice with the recirc valve dumping into it but it was a bit of a pain to fit.

I ended up cutting it down and fitting an offset k and n cone onto it tucked down next to where the old Orem air intake pipes were.

I'll try and find a photo if it will help

I had the Carbonio kit on mine with a Ram Air filter, very tight for space but sounded awesome, I would also add that it did suffer a little with heat soak.

Octavia vRS btw but the same as a mk4.

I didn't realise they sat that low! Mine would be almost touching the floor if it was down there
