Title: Golf is leaking like the Exxon Valdez.

Again with the oil leak!! Had my rocker cover gasket changed a month or so ago. But the car is still leaking oil. It seems to be a top end oil leak but then it's hard to tell. Could you guys tell me where the likely places for a leak on the back of the engine are?

Was it a genuine gasket that was used?

This plus did you clean all the old gasket off before refitting

I had it done at my usual garage, the bloke gave me a good rate because I've gone in so often with this damn car! He used an OEM gasket as far as I know, and I can't imagine they wouldn't have cleaned the old gasket off.

Might just take it back and get them to find the source of the leak, I don;t really have the time these days.
