Ok, so I have been putting together my website, and have done as much as I feel I can at the moment. Will be sorting the domain out soon and finalising it, but before I do, I would love your opinions!
This is my first website so be gentle!

Any tips?
Thanks in advance...

Looks great, nice font and the images look much better than on facebook. :afro:

Not sure about the big grab thing at the bottom. :undecided:
Other layout seems clean but I couldn't figure out how to make the images skip when I wanted to or how to stop them. I'm browsing on the iPhone.

Is that a free WIX account? Does the banner go if you pay for it?
How easy was WIX to use? I've seen quite a few photographers websites using it.
Layout is fine.
On the portraits page you've got a random letter on the left, and also some of the small photos are being cropped so that people (the two girls in denim jackets) are losing the top of their heads.
I would probably also remove your own portrait from that page as it's already on the frontpage and the about page.
Anyway of making the small photos on each page the right aspect ratio? Cropping a nice landscape shot down to a square doesn't let you see if properly (obviously you get to see them properly when you click on them).
Calling a page "Other Projects" seems a bit odd if you don't then say what the "other projects" are. Just a little detail about the Urb-Ex or lightpainting, etc.
Also, you don't have any prices:
Read this from Zack Arias (a very good photographer who runs a very helpful Tumblr blog) (http://zarias.tumblr.com/post/26960936305/i-see-you-dont-post-your-rates-on-your-site-but-know)
Hope that helps.
Going to get mine up soon, then you can C&C mine

Honestly, I have decided against Wix and gone with Wordpress, which is where my blog is anyway. So I have incorporated my blog into the site to my blog traffic now goes to my home page first.
Also it is much simpler and Google friendly.
Also, it's around £30-40 per year for hosting and there are so many companies that will host a wordpress site for you.

Not 100% on the theme but that is simple and this is the best I've found that I like so far, clean and simple.
Not as much functionality as I would like yet but that will come when I move over to Wordpress.org and am hosted and have the domain.
So, what do you think, better, worse? Anything I can improve upon?

It looks clean and simple, i would like the font to be a little heavier and maybe a more interesting background.

I set up mine a whole ago it's a www.tjgphotography.co.uk I use Photium and hosted by an external company.

Cheers guys! Yeah I'm on TP quite a bit, one of the best photo forums I've found, also it's English, which is a bonus!
