Title: Multiple choice question for you:
Post by: Ozz on 10 August 2005, 22:14
What do you think I found today when I removed the side trim from my car:

a) Good metal
b) A big nasty patch of rust
c) A bunch of spiders eggs
d) All of the above!!!!

Still, at least it was nice and easy as there are none of those clip holes, at least one benefit to having an early gti!!!

Chalk ten points up for mix for the right answer, as to your second comment, no such luck!

Was a really nasty patch of rust too, the whole width of the side trim around, so about 2 inch diameter  Hoping to find some good metal deep beneath it tomorrow then cover with filler, if not might have to find someone to weld it up for me

I swear that car is just a whole in my pocket!!
