Someone on another forum has mentioned that climate screen will only be fitted to cars from bw 42.

The way things are going it may well be BW42 by the time some if ours gets built  :rolleyes:

I have it specced on my GTD but only ordered yesterday. Don't even have a build week. Dealer reckons about 6 months and its the DSG that will delay by an extra 2 months.

Ordered Mid May and was expecting an October delivery. If this is true then it looks now like an end Nov/Dec delivery at earliest!!!!

Wk 42 is mid October isnt it?

Added the climate screen to my spec last month, as of 2 weeks ago my build week was estimated at 34 which is already about 10 weeks later than expected when I placed the order at the beginning of April.
Will try to get an update from my dealer this week.

Emailed my dealer today to ask about the BW 42 rumour for the climate screen. Got a reply within an hour or two. My car has dropped back another week to BW 35 now. Not great but almost feels like good news given that I added the climate screen last month.

As the factory is shut for 4 weeks thru' July/August don't see that there is any chance of it moving forward from there. Hopefully it won't slip back any further, so I guess I should get mid to late September delivery.

Haha!  Just catching up on here after a business trip away...now I'm gutted!  :sick:

Nah, just kidding, whatever...I'm completely past caring now and just look at it this way - every month that goes by, I save more and more cash.
