no point in tuning a 1.4 mate.. unless you stick nos in it  but i doubt even the gearbox would handle it.
by the way, are you serious?.

to be honset, your not going to get any results from tuning the 1.4. just wait till you can afford a 1.8t.

as said, don`t bother with the cherry bomb, they are so 1990`s and sound chavvy and sh!t.
go with an aftermarket backbox by all means if thats your thing, youre better off buying a direct fit one by the way.
but youre not really going to benefit performance wise, also any mod needs to be declared.

Save up for a 1.8t turbo then instead. You are gonna get no worthwhile gains from a 1.4!

Just do bodywork mods an when you can afford a 1.8t then just swap the parts over

Is that a serious question?

Believe it or not they filter the oil and fuel

i'm serious because im only 18 so cant afford a gti or anything

My advice, don't waste your money on a 1.4 either on the engine or otherwise. You'll see no noticeable gains without spending a huge amount of money.

In terms of styling mods only do them if you are prepared to pay in the increase in insurance. Not declaring them to your insurance company will invalidate your insurance.

Depends entirely on where you go, with paint you get what you pay for so generally go with the most you can afford. I've been quoted £150 to have mine resprayed by someone that I know is good.

Its up to you we have all been there lol. I had a 1.1 ford fiesta 4 speed. Mods done : home made american style airfilter, GMAX shocks and springs (lowered) ,alloys ,cosworth whaletail spoler, xr2 body kit, alloys, weber carb, split fire platimun spark plugs ,full system big bore 2 exhaust ,recaro seats and sripped and cleaned engine. 110 mph was its top speed in 4th gear ,wish it had a 5th.   I would say get 18inch wheels a gti badge for the back a induction kit and a upgraded back box exhaust. Up to you.

or turn it into a mk4 1.4 turbo  could be interesting other than that the only quickness you'll get out of it is drowing it petrol and clicking a match into it.

save your pennies, enjoy the fuel economy, live in the slow lane and once you have the dosh and the age get a 1.8t
