Title: Coilover kits
Post by: tdi_blu on 16 June 2013, 15:30
Sorry if its been asked but just after some feedback really on different coilover kits im currently running a JOM kit which is ok but just a little bouncey so Im after a kit which would be better than my JOM. Im on a budget of about £300 to £350 I dont mind a used kit either. I have also bought a 4 motion ARB as my ARB is rubbing now and then and it really gets on my tits lol.Im watching a AP kit but it does not have the rear shocks so would this effect the ride on the rear if I just used say my JOM shocks with the AP springs etc.The other kit is a Weitec and I belive these to be good kits,so just after some feedback really or any kits people could recommen thanks.

My weitecs will be up for sale as soon as ive got some new joms, call me mad but I much prefered the soft bouncyness of the joms the weitecs are an awesome bit of kit but there abit to firm for the roads near me!

The problem I have is I do 600+ miles a week in a 08 plate astra van which has uber soft suspension so rarely drive the golf resulting in me having to get used to the harshness each time I drive it which isnt fun !
