Title: MK3 Starter Motor -replaced but engine mount won't line up!!

I've got to that dreaded stage with the engine mount bolt not going through after replacing the starter.
I've jacked the engine up, i had it jacked while i undid the bolt too, but the holes  are about 6mm away from lining up.
Is there any method to use to get them back? There isn't any room to grab things to shake it or i can't seem to use a screwdriver to lever anything (probably not wise anyway!).
Any help would be much appreciated!

What he said and also loosen the other ones a little to help with lining it up

take out the front mount and that will give you loads of room to get it lined up.
