Title: Map Updates

Does anybody know how the map updates for the Discover Nav will work? i.e. will VW give you free updates for life?

You get three years free
I have a link somewhere, its through one of the mapping companies. I will dig it out.

im sure its either on the navteq or continental site. three years updates with two a year i think.

Thanks. Just had a look. It looks like you can just download the latest version with no questions asked! How will they know that your three years are up?

Good question - but the details on the VW site say it comes with three years updates - so that's all you could hold them to.
You never know what may change between now and then ! :)

EDIT: perhaps this statement relates to the three years free....

"Of course you can also obtain the latest map data on an SD card from your local Volkswagen Service Partner"
