what did you do to fix it? just put the bolts in so that it tightened it up and re-sealed it or something?
think mines on its way out...

Yes mate took old rivetts out and put bolts in and tightened them up could have done with smaller bolts but thats all i could get at the time realy quiet now.been meaning to do it for ages and just had enough of it today so done it at work
-
mine made a noise - a resistor later its now in the garage somewhere
-
great work, i think this would be a good guide for anyone who chose to fix it rather than delete it..
-
I also fixed mine in the same manner except I used split washers to avoid the bolt becoming loose, and sealed the edges with tiger seal. It was a lot quiter but still sounded like crap :(
-
I would have used washers but the shop i went to never had any so i used thread lock instead.well started it this morning and cant hear it so its iva fixed it or dont work at all haha

I want to do a delete but I have been told unless im going to go down the road of a decat (which im not) then deleting it will cause my car to fail the MOT on emissions.

I had the problem with the black pipe that comes off the egr valve it was making some strange noise so i had to put the pump back on it

I have a 200 cell sports cat and its never failed an MOT with mine removed, it only pre warms the cat to prevent damage to it when starting from cold
