but you dont need to plug vagcom in to remove throttle body and clean it???

you only need it to realign the throttle body if its not DBW...

so if your saying the cable isnt working so your just going to take off the throttle boddy and if it dont work after go to a scrap yard and get a new one that wownt do anything, cause the one from the scrapyard will need re aligning.

if you have DBW then it will adjust itsself

Your not going to f**k it up. Just take it off and clean it. When you put it back leave the car on ignition for a bit you should hear some wierd buzing from the tb for a bit. If revs dont settle after few miles then it just needs aligning on vagcom its no biggy mate

Follow it and should work. Will need it for xp too. You will need to to do the device manager part and use correct ports

It doesn't matter which port it uses as long as it can establish a connection.
