Title: what to mod first?

was thinking about getting an uprated dv valve ,then a cold air intake pipe thingy (sorry no techie yet ) and then a remap by revo i have 1999 t reg 1.8 t gti have you any advice for me  thanks guys oh the car is totally stock at the minute

if i was starting from scratch again i would go..

modded airbox > dv > remap > exhaust/cat > wheels > suspension > brakes > intercooler > then start looking at big turbo packages.

obviously any exterior/interior or ICE mods could fit in anywhere, wallet permitting :grin:

will i have any probs with turbos knackering or other serious things if i get the airflow dv and remap done

For what you can pick up ko3s now, your better off changing the turbo before you get it remapped then you can get better gains. :wink:

Still a fair bit of wedge for relatively little gain, only reason i upgraded to k03s was because my k03 got mashed. I'd rather have put the money towards a proper turbo conversion :cool:

Yeh i know what u mean, I have had mine remapped and am now getting the bits together for an ihi conversion, so means getting it remapped again another £500 :angry:

So if anyone is thinking about changing there turbo for an uprated one do it before you get it remapped. :smiley:
