Title: Oil check light

Oil warning light popped up yesterday(not the big STOP CAR NOW warning), got back, checked oil it was low, bad me  :embarrassed:

So obvs topped it up, but the light is still on...What else could this be? :undecided:

Could be your sump sensor faulty common fault my mates passat his oil warning on the dash is alway on

How would I check oil pressure? There is no leak by the looks of it and the level is now good... :undecided:

Try clearing it on vagcom first

You can fit a new one or code it out  :lipsrsealed:

Yea I was meant to scan it this weekend but forgot my laptop! I defo have oil in it, and it isn't oil pressure. I guess I'll just keep an eye on it until I get a new one fitted.

It will get to the point where it stays on  :whistle:

30 seconds with VAGCOM or £100+ for new sensor........

Off the top of my head yeah and that was 3 years ago!!
