give that a go, not exactly pressurizing the system but worked for me :)

you can buy proper smoke pellets from any plumbing merchants!
gonna have to make me one of these up
-
but its not pressurized........ i might just go garage and get it checked, anybody got an idea of a price ??

Have you checked for fault codes??

I'm in brum (b15) can take a look next week if you like, hopefully my bag com will be back up and working by then. Pm me

if you can make a bung to plug the tip, you can then pressurise the system. works best with a compressor.

Hello people .... as i said i had it scanned but cant remember what code it was but it is the code that brings up the possibility of it being about 5 different faults that's why i replaced the maf and the dv but that didn't solve the problem... when i disconnect the battery the light goes off for about 200 miles if that hints at what it could be.

without telling us the codes we havent really got a clue tbh..

like you said, could be a number of things

well this is the reason why i named the post d.i.y pressure/boost check birmingham area as i was hoping that someone not to far from me might have had the kit to do it ...... maf and dv have been replaced so a pressure check is next on the list
-
roll yourself a big fat dooby n give it a good blowback
-
smoke pellets would be a better option.....think ill just go the garage as they will most likely have all the right gear

If i do decide to test this myself what psi should i test it to, car is completely standard.
