Title: can you retro fit power steering?

Is it possible to fit power steering to my manual steered mk2 89 16v??

I wouldn't like to tackle it.  It's one of those things.  U might be better off with replacing your engine with PAS on it.

you'll need second hand power steering rack, with the pump including mounting bracket and the pipe work. You will also need to change alternator belt and the pulley that is on block as you will have two belts as oppose to one.

Quite a lot of work and i would think a lot of money for the bits too. If you really wanna do it and got the cash then go for it.
