So ive been to look at a mk2 gti fitted with a abf lump in it!!

I noticed tge engine was little lumpy and i think slight missfire on idle

Now is this normal or can it be sorted easy?

Rip out the K jet and put the proper ecu and loom in that the abf originally run on in its mk3 form.
It ll run perfect then and you wouldn't have to worry about it. K jets old hat now and needs someone who knows what they re doing to set it up properly to stop it cutting out etc.

Just read your other thread bout it needing setting up.
Get the c.o checked and adjusted at a garage which does mots or get some one old school to tune it by ear aswell as the ignition timing. You mention it's low on power in your other thread, it should go like stink!

You need it on a rolling road to tune it properly and to ensure the mixture doesn't lean out at high revs and grenade the motor (which is a distinct possibility).
