Title: 16v GTI Edition.. ?

Hi folks. I've recently moved to Mallorca, After selling my VR in the UK I've been hunting for a decent golf here. Picked up a cheap 92 8v 3dr for now, but As per usual i had to look for something better.

I came across a 16v GTI EDITION 5dr in dragon green.. Cant seem to find out much about these, anybody have any info? its got speedlines and recaros. (then again most I've seen out here have recaros, even my 92 8v!)
Think i'll buy it either way though as its relatively cheap for over here, done about 110km and had 2 owners.

there was a 16v GTI Edition for the swiss market in 1996... but there's not much info I can find (I don't understand the swiss language)

Well i guess 1996 ties in with the clear oval repeaters? Not certain of build date or origin yet, but I will do once i get the papers in my hands tomorrow.

Being in Mallorca its highly likely it could of been imported as there is a massive amount of non Spanish residents here.
