Forged rod and install package :cool:
Nearly ready to start the engine build just need to get a few more things sorted (inside of car/cage amounted fuel tank axle back on etc) ....busy busy!

Very nice! You doing pistons too? Does it work out expensive?

Throwing some good condition forged agu pistons for the time being.
Only going aiming for about 350ish for the near future so not too worried yet :grin:
Worked out at about £600 for the rifle drilled forged rods and install packages which contains a few things including metal water pump head, gasket set and racing Kevlar timing belt etc :cool:

Giving the spare engine a full overhaul but first I need to free up some space in the garage by getting some bits put back on the track project :laugh:

I got my IE rods sitting downstairs right now just trying to work out everything I need can you post a list please mate

I currentt just have the rod shell bearings, water pump, cambelt, gasket kit including manfol s nuts, valve seals etc , headbolts and a couple of oil filters
Will also replacing all o- rings and seals when I strip it down and find out exactly what I need.
Also got new rings and gonna get a new topron oil pump and bits , pick up pipe, main bearings and anything else I can think if/find while stopping it down haha.
Will replace any valves that new replacing but will rebuild the head with uprated parts at a later date.
