Title: Been a busy boy the last couple of days...(warning pic heavy)

Right well after a few of you saying I should have a black grille, and me wanting to try my hand at some spraying and give me something to do now im out of work :(

I went to halfords, and got, 1 tin of gloss black, 1 tin of plastic primer, 2 tins of clear lacqer, and 1 tin of reflex silver.

Also i looked at the rear badge I got on ebay and its been on my car no more than 5 weeks and I can clearly see that the seller did not prep this correctly.....

so I ripped it off, dug out my old one that I took off, spoke to GTI_James and he wanted one so I thought bugger it im ging all out lol.
Took my grille off and began work :)

Prep and priming done, did around 3 coats of primer and left it a few hours then started the paint.

My neighbour seen what I was doing and asked if I would do his for his T4 so....

Over all I am happy with the outcome considdering this is the first time I have ever done anything like this and the finish with a rattle can is impressive, once there fitted back on the car later i'll get some pics up :)

Im still in my dressing gown haha, just finished a coat of polish and sealed the paint with colonite gunna get dressed soon and get to work :)

Just fitted the front gille, and i need to pop to halfords for some numberplate strips to fit the rear badge :)

Looking good man. I wasn't too keen on the bumper before the black grill, but now it looks spot on. :)
