smell it, or taste it? your radiator may have a hole init or check (looking from the frount of your car) the bottom right hand side of the rad, there is a drainage tap that may of come loose?
-
hasnt got a smell to it, 1st thing i did was put finger in it. its more at the back of the engine

Give your local VW dealers a ring. Tell them you would like them to check your car for a coil pack recall, they will ask for your reg and book you in if it hasn't been done. Then they will replace all your coil packs free of charge and clean your car while there at it while popping a tin of VW mints and a VW air freshener :)
Total cost to you?
Petrol dropping it off then getting it home. :)
