Title: Mk2 door handle replacements.

Hi, anybody be able to recommend a good kit or supplier for door handle/locks? I've seen some on eBay and vw heritage but are they any good?

Have you tried the dealer? I bought a drivers door handle about two years ago after going through 3 in as many years, iirc it was about £25

2nd hand OEM ones should be fine. Pattern ones are horrible and stick/break.

OEM handles all the way. I bought a complete door with handle, mirror, glass, the lot for a tenner once just to get the handle. You can swap the lock barrels over with care too, so you keep your original key.
