well after getting my mk4 gti turbo i shall be getting rid of it BUT dont worry it will be going to my partner so i can have a beter one remaped, turbo upgrade ect and everything else u can do to it so il be on the look out for one in 3 to 4 weeks,,, i just love it when you get a letter from your accountant saying mr tax man is owe you 5k :smiley:

That would be the one to buy then as I'm pretty sure that has most things done to it. There is a build thread for it on here some where I think.

No but its a better base for modding IMO and it drives well in standard form
Dont see the point in buying something 'ready done' unless you have the exact same taste as the person whose car you are buying but even then you'll be changing bits etc
Id either buy a really clean, unmodified example of a MK4 or get something that drives better out of the box in the form of a MK5.
